In church today we learned more of the life of the prophet Joseph Fielding Smith. His wife spoke of him in this way: “The man I know is unselfish, uncomplaining, considerate, thoughtful, sympathetic, doing everything within his power to make life a supreme joy for his loved ones. That is the man I know” ("Teachings of Presidents of the Church", Ch. 4).
To me, this describes the man I know, my sweet husband. I anxiously await his homecoming from work each day. He is so considerate of me and observant of the needs of those around him. I love spending time with him and my children. It is a joy!
"Not only can we turn the doors of our homes to the temple, or the house of the Lord; we can make our homes a “house of the Lord"' (Gary A. Stevenson, “Sacred Homes, Sacred Temples,” Ensign, Apr. 2009).

I Am a Mother
I am a mother! It is such an awesome responsibility and calling in my life. I'm grateful to be a mother even though some days present way more trials and stress than I would like to bear. Overall, it's a rewarding and sacred privilege I have been given from God.
I really like the book "I Am a Mother" by Jane Clayson Johnson. It reiterates many of my opinions of how important motherhood and staying home with your children is. I'm so grateful I get to spend every day at home with my sweet children!

Marriage Between Man and Woman
My marriage is so important. The family is central to God's plan for us. So nurturing my marriage is a top priority. When I really take the time for my spouse, everything runs more smoothly and we work together more unitedly in purpose and in energy.

Successful Marriages and Families
"Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities" (The Family: A Proclamation to the World).
A Place of Tranquility
As our prophet President Monson says in this video, "The temple is a place of tranquility. It is a place of kindness and love and light." I want my home to be like that- a place of tranquility, kindness, love, and light.
