Journals

In addition to our own journals, my husband and I are carrying on a tradition that his family had to keep journals for our children. We write occasionally to our children in their journals and they also write in them. Today we did their handprints, they drew pictures, and we wrote some of their favorite things.

Journals can be a great way to preserve memories for us, our children, and potentially future generations. Sometimes, keeping journals seems like just another thing to do. If you ever feel like that, read the talk by Brad Wilcox, "Why Write It?"  I don't write all the time, but I know keeping journals is important and it's been a blessing to write down my thoughts and to look back on them.
